How To Use Rythm


To use Rythm in Discord, follow the steps with your current device:

Starting a Session​

  1. Join a voice channel anywhere on the platform. Rythm was meant to be used together, so remember to invite your friends to join you too!

  2. Make sure you have the Use Activities permission if you're in a server. You should see a little rocket icon in the botton left. Press the icon to open up a list of available activities.

  3. Choose Rythm in the Activities shelf.

  4. You should now see Rythm begin to launch. If you are a first-time user, you will need to Authorize the Rythm application and go through the Onboarding section.

Invite a friend

Rythm was designed to be used together and needs at least 2 people in the activity. You are granted a few minute grace period to set up a queue and invite friends before the music is paused.

Playing Radios​

  1. Click the Find Radio button. This will say Add Music instead if you are a Premium user.

  2. A variety of radios will show up. Pick one that fits your mood and click Start Radio.

Creating a Custom Queue​

Premium required

You need Premium to perform this action. Learn more about Premium.

  1. Click on the Add Music button.

  2. Search for any song, artist, or genre. Rythm will search automatically as you type. To add your desired songs into the queue, click on the plus button icon next to the songs.
