How To Use Rythm
To use Rythm in Discord, follow the steps with your current device:
Starting a Session​
- Voice Channel
- Text Channel
- Join a voice channel anywhere on the platform. Rythm was meant to be used together, so remember to invite your friends to join you too!
- Make sure you have the Use Activities permission if you're in a server. You should see the icon in the botton left. Press the icon to open up a list of available activities.
- Choose Rythm in the Activities shelf.
- You should now see Rythm begin to launch. If you are a first-time user, you will need to Authorize the Rythm application and go through the Onboarding section.
- Find a text channel anywhere on the platform. Rythm was meant to be used together, so remember to invite some friends to join you too!
- Make sure you have the Use Activities permission if you're in a server. Next, click the icon on the left of the text chat and click on Start Activity.
- Choose Rythm in the Activities shelf.
- You should now see Rythm begin to launch. If you are a first-time user, you will need to Authorize the Rythm application and go through the Onboarding section.
Invite a friend
Rythm was designed to be used together and needs at least 2 people in the activity. You are granted a few minute grace period to set up a queue and invite friends before the music is paused.
Playing Radios​
- Choose a radio of your choice in the Start a Radio section to start listening.
- You can also click on the Add Music/Switch Radio button and head over to the Radio tab to view our radio list or search for one.
- Feeling lucky? Click the Random Radio button to start a random radio!

Creating a Custom Queue ​
- Click on the Add Music button.
- Search for any song, artist, album or genre. Rythm will search automatically as you type. To add your desired songs into the queue, click on the icon next to the songs.
You can also add songs from the Start a Queue section to instantly initiate a queue.
tip
You can double-click on any song in the search results to conveniently add it to the queue!
